Introduction to Bread Making

 

A fun session introducing bread making to complete novices.  You make your own loaf to take home!

Foundation Course in Bread Making

 

This course caters for complete novices and beginners and teaches the science behind bread making giving you the confidence to trouble shoot problems and try out new flours. The course also includes a session on using traditional flours and a tour of the Mill.  You will make two loaves of bread during the day using dressed and wholemeal flours.

£72 per person 10.30am - 3.30pm.

Advanced Course in Bread Making

 

This course starts with a session on sour-dough and guides you through making and keeping of a starter then you will make your own sour-dough bread.  This is followed by an afternoon session on using different cereals and how to make a Granary style loaf using malted ingredients. Using what you have learnt you will have the opportunity of making your own experimental loaf under the guidance of the Martin our trainer/baker.
